Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study and at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Fundamental MS Office Skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail
- Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills
- Future interest in Project Management
- Previous understanding of aircraft maintenance
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes
- Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams
- Assist with schedule management
- Ensure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
- Help prepare budgets, analyze risks and opportunities
- Monitor project progress and address issues that arise via proper communication and escalation
- Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
- Work with the Program Manager to remove road blocks
- Use tools to monitor and control performance, plans and expenditures
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and status reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with USG Statements of Work, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplements (DFARS)
- Development of proposals to include administrative tasks as assigned
- Data entry into PM systems
- Collaborating with internal Leadership, vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams, such as IPT leads, CAMs, Tech Leads and PA’s to ensure program activities will accomplish objectives
- Conflict resolution especially those related to resource assignments
- Monitoring project progress against baseline schedule and facilitating process improvement initiatives
