Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study and at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Fundamental MS Office Skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail
  • Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills
  • Future interest in Project Management
  • Previous understanding of aircraft maintenance
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes
  • Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams
  • Assist with schedule management
  • Ensure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
  • Help prepare budgets, analyze risks and opportunities
  • Monitor project progress and address issues that arise via proper communication and escalation
  • Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
  • Work with the Program Manager to remove road blocks
  • Use tools to monitor and control performance, plans and expenditures
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and status reports

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with USG Statements of Work, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplements (DFARS)
  • Development of proposals to include administrative tasks as assigned
  • Data entry into PM systems
  • Collaborating with internal Leadership, vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams, such as IPT leads, CAMs, Tech Leads and PA’s to ensure program activities will accomplish objectives
  • Conflict resolution especially those related to resource assignments
  • Monitoring project progress against baseline schedule and facilitating process improvement initiatives
