Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field
- 1+ year of experience in commercial construction
- Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects
Responsibilities
- Develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders and other management tools
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents with various project related tasks
- Help generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and track approvals
- Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination
- Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with all internal and external customers
- May have more involvement in entire job cycle on selected projects under supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Have general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing
- Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems
- Experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore)
- Design-build commercial construction experience
