Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience

  • Ability to travel as required – up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Own the management of all active work orders, ensuring timely completion and alignment with project goals.
  • Triage and allocate ‘hot jobs,’ ensuring the team stays agile and responsive.
  • Support initial BOM reviews and kit jobs for smooth project launches.
  • Follow up on discrepancies with customers, while ensuring technicians stay productive when main jobs are delayed.
  • Handle access requests, coordinate walk-throughs, and enforce EDC rules and standards.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineers to develop standard work processes and support shipments and DWOR processing.
  • Contribute to CORE activities and drive operational excellence.
  • Provide updates on work order status during tier and interdepartmental meetings.
  • Assist with drawing lookups, test specifications, and procedure reviews.
  • Track and manage consumables, tooling, equipment, and chemicals—ensuring everything is stocked and accounted for.
  • Oversee the receiving and allocation of parts & TE, working closely with Engineering and Project teams to ensure tasks are executed successfully.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience in engineering, R&D, or lab environments preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills in managing multiple tasks and priorities preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams and communicating with stakeholders preferred.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability with quick adaptation to issues preferred.
  • Familiarity with BOMs, drawings, schematics, and work order systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Access for data management and reporting preferred.
  • Prior experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience leading technical professionals in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Application of continuous improvement tools and CORE awareness preferred.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams preferred.
  • Ability to reduce costs, improve quality, and meet schedules through technical engagement preferred.
