Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering/technical field.
- 1-3 years of project management experience managing projects of various sizes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, sourcing, operations, quality, regulatory, Marketing, etc.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to timely project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams from planning through implementation. The team may include both internal and external team members.
- Effectively plan and execute projects using project management tools, coach project team members, solve problems, and make decisions for the project.
- Lead multiple small to medium projects with limited supervision.
- Communicate both up and down the organization to complete projects and provide status updates on the projects.
- Support change control KPI reporting with project reporting.
- Create and maintain project schedules.
- Assist in tracking and communication of project risks.
- Support continuous improvement opportunities and ongoing process improvements within the sustaining engineering project team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Project and Monte Carlo simulation.
- Experience with Agile Product Lifecycle Management from Oracle.
- Project Management Professional (PMP certification).
