Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, a related field or relevant technical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a business operations or program management environment
- Proven experience running large-scale and cross functional projects
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, with experience in Smartsheet preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, benefits, KPIs, and results
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Run project execution to ensure compliance to the project plan
- Maintain alignment of project benefits with overall program and portfolio level strategy
- Work closely with the Program Manager and other partners to understand project requirements and objectives
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project team members and other departments
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met
- Support Program Manager with data, reporting, and slide creation for executive level presentations
- Identify and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges
- Raise critical issues to the Program Manager as needed
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of project results
- Coordinate the review and approval of project documentation and reports to ensure adherence to the organization’s standards
- Conduct quality audits and reviews to ensure all aspects of the project align with operational maturity
- Lead the allocation of resources within the project team to ensure optimal and realistic utilization
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized project tasks
- Monitor project budget and financial performance
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, tools, and templates
- Stay updated with industry standard processes and incorporate them into the project management strategy
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Handle additional duties as assigned by Management
