Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with a record of strong academic performance
  • 3 – 5 years minimum corporate experience. Experience writing RFPs/RFIs/DDQs is preferred.
  • Healthcare experience focused on government programs such as Health Plans, PBMS, and Health Systems is a plus since this role will support SS&C Health Solutions.
  • Strong competency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate information into a clear, compelling message.
  • Experience with Software Management Systems. Loopio is a plus.
  • Ability to interact with staff across all levels and operate in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing project requirements.
  • Outstanding organization and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure, high-workload environment.
  • Superior attention to detail, grammar and vocabulary

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coordination of responding to inbound RFP/RFI requests, assisting with pre-bid strategy, and setting up meetings with all relevant team members for on-time delivery of proposals.
  • Assist in shaping messaging on Healthcare/Pharmacy solutions and provide product data, presentation content/ideas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional sales, operations, and subject matter experts to gain a good understanding of the prospect’s and/or client’s needs.
  • Access to/maintenance and continuous development of a Health/Pharmacy content library of pre-established content and templates.
  • Prepare PowerPoint slides and create decks with graphics and illustrations to elaborate on and complement Healthcare/Pharmacy writing.
  • Confidence to meet with subject matter experts to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed.
  • Verify that the message within the proposal remains consistent throughout and that win themes are properly integrated.
  • Ability to adhere to project schedules and strict deadlines and adapt to changes and shifting priorities.
  • Provide sales support for additional ad hoc Health requests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing RFPs/RFIs/DDQs is preferred.
