Requirements
- 2+ year experience in the field of manufacturing assembly of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems; associate degree preferred
- Highly motivated, willing to learn on the job
- Comfortable to work in an industrial environment (90% indoor)
- Analytical problem-solving skills & root cause analysis
- Ability to read drawings, interpret metric/imperial tolerances
- MS Office – including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook highly preferred
- Experience using Jira and Confluence preferred
Responsibilities
- Read assembly process instructions and execute accordingly
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
- Assembly of actuators on prototype assembly line
- End-of-line testing of actuators on prototype assembly line
- Using manual and semi-auto pressing equipment, torque tools, etc.
- Soldering, applying thermal interface material, and wire stripping
- Basic measurements of mechanical and electrical components/subsystems
- Providing feedback to engineering on suggested process and design improvements to increase efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to root cause and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Documenting build issues and deviations
