Requirements
- You hold a master’s or doctoral degree in mental health or a related field
- You are a member in good standing of the OPQ (Psychologist or Psychotherapist) or the OTSTCFQ (Social Worker)
- You are proficient in French
- You have a minimum of five years of clinical experience
- You have the ability to set short-term objectives and use a solution-focused approach
- You have experience with addictions counselling
- You are comfortable with a wide variety of presenting issues
- You are empathetic and are able to clinically manage high-risk cases
- You have excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle a large volume of clients
- You have a good knowledge of community resources
Responsibilities
- You will provide counselling to individuals referred by our medical team, based on clients’ needs (private clients)
- You will provide short-term counselling (3 to 6 sessions) to the EAP clients
- You will provide service in person and virtually, from the clinic
- You will manage the administrative requirements of cases using simple clinical templates, making note-taking easy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mandated clients.
