Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling or related field
- Independent Ohio license to practice (i.e., LISW or LPCC)
- A minimum of two years of experience working with patients with mental illness and/or substance use disorders
- Training in at least one evidence-based psychotherapy modality (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy) will be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation for patients with mental health complaints referred to OSU Harding Hospital Partial/IOPs
- Provide counseling/psychotherapy/psychoeducation to groups and individuals with mental & behavioral disorders to facilitate return to previous or improved functioning
- Formulate individualized treatment plans to assist patients to determine and meet treatment goals
- Advocating within local community if needed
- Work as part of clinical team
- Maintain third-party payer relationships
- Complete all necessary paperwork (e.g., disability, FMLA)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and/or training in at least one evidence-based psychotherapy modality (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy) is preferred.
