Requirements

• Master’s degree in supply chain management required
• Knowledge of forecasting, sourcing, operation, inventory management, MRP, ERP, Lean Six Sigma finance and accounting, data analysis and decision-making, negotiation and project management required
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Request quotes, negotiate prices, and maintain relationships with existing vendors.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
• Work with Finance Team to ensure that purchases are properly accounted for and processed for payment.
• Place and track orders, ensuring smooth procurement processes.
• Adhere to and refine procurement policies, ensuring efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and expand the vendor network.
• Collaborate with departments to assess procurement needs and define specifications for goods and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchases, contracts, and vendor details.
• Implement and manage purchasing SOPs and policies and provide training to new hires.
• Resolve supplier issues and conduct periodic supplier audits to maintain robust partnerships.
• Oversee purchase requisitions company-wide, ensuring compliance with guidelines and budget constraints.
• Provide help and support to Finance Team as needed.
• Design PO approving structure in NetSuite, manage NetSuite users and provide training.
• Backup to customer service position, and support Finance Team as needed.
