Requirements
- Technical and Business Management/Administration degree is desired.
- At least 7 to 10 years of progressive procurement buying experience, specifically with engineered fabrication of ANSI centrifugal pumps, axial flow pumps, centrifuges, fluid bed dryers, and chillers.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing all commercial matters for procuring rotating equipment such as ANSI centrifugal pumps, axial flow pumps, centrifuges, fluid bed dryers, MVR Turbo Fans and compressors, vacuum systems, and chillers.
- Preparation of RFQ solicitations, solicitation evaluation, procurement negotiations, supplier selection/development.
- Establish pricing and negotiation of commercial terms, award selection, contract/purchase order development & management, performance expectations and administration and other elements of procurement in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Review of market trends and economic conditions, and documentation of supplier performance to ensure that the purchase orders awarded yield the optimum balance of technical, commercial, schedule, and financial objectives.
- Provide leadership, and support for the project team in the development, guidelines and administration of all Strategic Supplier Alliances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Google G Suite is preferred.
- Highly organized individual with excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work as a member of a project team.
