Requirements
- 2-4 years of Human Resources experience
- Knowledge of Local, State and Federal labor laws
- SHRM-CP or similar certification is a plus
- Familiarity with Greenhouse (ATS) and ADP (HRIS) is a plus
- A positive service delivery attitude as a company ambassador and employee advocate
- Self-motivated to work independently to solve problems and create solutions to new or complex challenges
- Strong customer management skills, sound judgment with the ability to build trust with employees, leadership teams and colleagues at other Grove locations
- Approachable with outstanding communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable and open to change
Responsibilities
- Support a growing fulfillment center in all aspects of Human Resources in close partnership with the Operations leadership team and Senior Manager of People Experience
- Ensure a welcoming and high touch employee engagement experience with timely communication and following up with outcomes
- Partner with leadership on employee relations issues and employee development
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Own recruitment activities to support the hiring needs of the warehouse
- Track and maintain leaves of absence, workers compensation, OSHA reporting
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training; this may include safety training, anti-harassment training, and PIT certifications
- Work closely with Team Member committees to plan engagement opportunities
- Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
- Assist with annual open enrollment process, including making group presentations and distributing, and receiving materials and forms
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or similar certification is a plus
- Familiarity with Greenhouse (ATS) and ADP (HRIS) is a plus
