Requirements
- Must have associate or higher degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or similar field.
- Should be familiar with the analyses and tests performed in a Quality Control or laboratory setting or experience in GMP and food manufacturing.
- Must have the ability to work as an active team member as well as independently.
- Must have data entry and transcription ability and good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all quality systems including, but not limited to, ISO FSSC 22000 and NSF DS regulations, with an additional understanding of IFF’s Quality Policy and procedures.
- Support the QC team with administrative functions such as lab supply ordering, meeting arrangements, data review and trending, as well as recording of test results into the SAP Quality Management module.
- Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling, and storage of food and Dietary Supplement products.
- Perform lab tasks as needed, such as counting plates, QA room releases, sample log-in and sample processing.
- Follow and enforce site safety procedure including all laboratory safety procedures.
