Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Must have basic computer skills to make daily data entries.
Responsibilities
- Conducting quality control and assurance checks.
- Managing quality processes.
- Performing inspections.
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure piece parts and products meet drawing requirements.
- Utilizing work instructions to collect data, complete inspection reports, history logs, rejection reports and associated paperwork.
- Receiving, In-process & Final inspections for compliance to drawing/requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate understanding of GD&T.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools.
- Experience in inspection or testing of electrical, electromechanical or mechanical product.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Completing first article inspections (FAIs) per AS9102.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and ability to create manual approaches to measuring.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
