Requirements
- BS in Industrial, Mechanical, or related engineering field
- 4+ years in leadership roles in Quality Management
- 10+ years managing regulatory compliance in manufacturing or construction
- Advanced knowledge of quality tools and continuous improvement practices
- Familiar with W/C programs
- Experienced in incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and customer-oriented skills
Responsibilities
- Oversees ISO 9001 certification, ensures compliance with quality policies, and maintains standards, procedures, and instructions in production and administrative processes
- Manages external/internal audits, develops action plans for compliance, and supports the development of work instructions, processes, and systems
- Collaborates with purchasing to develop local suppliers, maintains area KPIs, and manages corrective actions for deviations
- Addresses customer complaints, analyzes quality deviations, implements global specifications, and leads self-inspection and acceptance testing in the plant
- Develops and advises on plans to control losses from personal injury and property damage, analyzes accident causes, identifies trends, and prioritizes safety initiatives
- Formulates safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations, and contributes to proactive safety and loss control programs
- Implements employee safety training, reviews and recommends corrective actions for high-frequency incidents, and conducts in-depth analyses to prevent accidents or health hazards
- Assists in accident investigations, prepares materials for hearings and insurance, submits regulatory reports, provides safety training, and manages ongoing claims.
