Requirements
- Basic understanding of quality assurance standards and protocols
- Food Safety & documentation experience
- Previous experience in similar role, with specific types of testing (manual, automated, performance) relevant to the industry
- Familiarity with the 4 points of QA
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Quality Assurance Management team
- Achieve quality assurance operational objectives
- Perform tests at specified stages in the production process
- Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
- Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
- Complete special projects assigned
- Quality analysis of incoming dry goods for production
- Verification of specifications before startup and throughout production processes
- Problem solving on quality issues with production and other teams
- Documentation of key metrics for data analysis
- Maintenance of calibration and logs of all laboratory instruments
- General analysis and sampling of production samples
- Collection of retention samples
Preferred Qualifications
- Food/Beverage manufacturing experience a bonus
