Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management from an ABET-accredited university/ institution
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in related quality management work
- Current Army CQM Certificate required
- Requires management ability and knowledge of Quality Management practices, processes, and current technology
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other departments tactfully and professionally
- Strong leadership and management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of ISO Quality Management System Standards
- Ability to direct and manage team members on day-to-day activities and special projects to ensure timely completion.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall management direction and supervision for the Construction Quality Control (CQC) system
- Develop and maintain the Quality Control Plan and Quality Management System
- Maintains consistent on-site presence during construction to oversee quality procedures
- Plans, schedules, and executes audits, including reporting, resolving findings, and follow-up
- Documents and tracks internal and external corrective actions
- Conducts daily inspections and maintains detailed logs of inspections
- Conducts quality engineering reviews of design and construction documentation
- Ensures preparation, review, and timely submission of all required submittals and deliverables
- Actively participates in preparatory, initial, and follow-up quality control phase meetings
- Coordinates with internal teams, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent application and communication of quality standards
- Performs additional duties as required to support quality management and program success.
Preferred Qualifications
- A construction professional with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quality management may be considered.
