Salary Range: 29 to 31 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector Level 2 to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in our mechanical components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of inspection methodologies, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and performance of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products from external providers and perform in-process and final inspections of critical features.
  • Compile inspection sign-off sheets and verify that inspection equipment is effective.
  • Review inspection methodologies for alignment with drawing intent and ensure product standards are met.
  • Confirm hardware cleanliness, safety wire application, and proper fastener installation.
  • Review and validate First Article Inspections (FAI) and related documentation.
  • Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete.

Qualifications:

  • Previous mechanical inspection experience.
  • Familiarity with AS9102 (FAI).
  • Knowledge of GD&T and inspection methodologies.
  • CMM equipment experience is a plus!
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Experience with the use of precision measurement tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering drawings
  • Ability to work effectively within a quality management system.

Requirements:

  • Due to the nature of the product, you must be ITAR compliant.
  • Must be willing to undergo background check.
