Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM))
- 6+ years of prior Supervisory experience
- At least 3 years in a quality management/supervisor capacity
- Experience with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering and Quality
- Experience with Quality standards including AS9145, AS9100D, ISO9001:2015 or equivalent from other industries
- Experience with Continuous Improvement (CI) Tools
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Responsibilities
- Ensure product conformity across all the Value Streams of the site.
- Hire, retain and develop Quality talent across the site.
- Implement and maintain QMS certifications (AS9100, AS13100, AS9145, FAA, EASA, NADCAP, etc).
- Represent the Quality function for the respective SBU, interfacing with internal and external customers.
- Partner with the rest of the SBU functions to ensure continuous improvement in product and process efficiencies by prioritizing and reducing costs associated with defects, escapes, rework, and scrap.
- Establish and facilitate the Corrective Action Board and Management Review processes for the SBU to ensure quality business results are measured, reviewed, and improved in line with QMS requirements.
