Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Quality ASQ certification a plus
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to use a variety of precision measurement tools and equipment
- Can work independently with minimal supervision, and be able to follow written directions
- Works well with others in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Gain an understanding of a specific product design, including materials and manufacturing requirements while working with cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain inspection reports
- Conduct routine quality inspections and analyze data
- Document and process non-conforming material
- Communicate non-conforming material with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Identify improvement opportunities in quality control processes
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis through various problem-solving tools and techniques on internal concerns or external customer returns
- Supporting product Quality Engineers to achieve objectives
- Participate in 5S projects and safety meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Quality ASQ certification a plus
- Manufacturing experience preferred
