Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Must be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
- Temporary B SCRQSA license acceptable but must obtain ARRT Radiology Registration within 1 year of hire date
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level
- Apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and/or pediatric radiology
- Other duties as deemed necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Ability to learn and use new processes, tools, equipment as required
