Your Impact
We’re seeking an Executive Assistant for Axon’s R&D business unit. This role will be responsible for prioritizing schedules and projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is designed to enhance productivity within Axon’s R&D Software Engineering and Hardware pillars by supporting the SVP of Software Engineering and the SVP of Devices, ensuring their time is utilized efficiently and purposefully. This role will also provide calendar, meeting, travel, and expense assistance to maximize efficient use of resources; and help with other detailed, complex, and confidential duties as needed.
Your Day to Day
Location: Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA
- This critical role oversees administrative duties, enhancing executive effectiveness through information management support and representing executives with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to two senior leaders within Axon’s R&D organization, including managing and organizing calendars, coordinating travel, and aligning meetings with stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Handle confidential matters while engaging with senior-level contacts internally and externally, resolving scheduling conflicts proactively to optimize executives’ time.
- Ensure meeting preparedness by securing materials in advance and anticipating requirements, including venue selection, technology setup, and guest access.
- Manage communications and document preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff and other R&D Executive Assistants on strategic initiatives and manage leadership team expenses.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an executive assistant role, including 2+ years supporting a Vice President or higher.
- Demonstrated experience planning large, complex events internally and externally.
- Outstanding organizational and exceptional written/verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack and Quip.
- High sense of urgency and follow-up; capable of handling tasks with competing urgency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting executives in Engineering or related STEM fields.
- Experience collaborating with Chief’s of Staff.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibility to be onsite as needed for events.
