Requirements
- 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience through laboratory coursework in chemistry, or biochemistry.
- Familiarity with common laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Effective communicator, both written and oral; ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and best practices.
- A problem-solving mindset and enjoyment of working hands-on in a laboratory setting.
- Data-driven decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of organization, accountability, and ownership.
- Ability to work in a diverse, cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Develop experimental methods and execute experiments in the lab with the support of scientists and engineers to achieve project objectives.
- Use a combination of chemistry and biochemistry techniques to prepare solutions and test reagents in our biochemistry labs. Evaluate test reagents against quality benchmarks.
- Collect, analyze, visualize, and present data to collaborators using Excel, JMP and PowerPoint.
