Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills necessary
- Highly organized, structured, and process-oriented; team building skills a plus
- Strong time management abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to collaborate with internal and external business teams
- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping practices and attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated competency with office tools (e.g. MS Office and Google Suite)
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Responsibilities
- Organize, maintain, and store records in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Scan and upload documents to create digital records
- Maintain accurate records of file changes and access
- Process and digitally file incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Develop and implement records retention schedules and policies
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements for record retention
- Manage the lifecycle of records, including creation, storage, retrieval, and destruction
- Compile and prepare reports on records management activities
- May audit record-keeping practices and identify areas for improvement
