Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS), specifically Greenhouse amongst others.
- Strong understanding of the complete recruiting lifecycle and best practices.
- Ability to efficiently multitask and accommodate change of priorities on demand.
- Ability to obtain an active US Government TS clearance.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with hiring managers to define position requirements and ideal candidate profiles, especially for roles demanding high-level security clearances.
- Source candidates through a variety of channels, including direct outreach, social media, job boards, professional networks, aerospace & defense tech events, and employee referrals.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage the interview process, scheduling & coordinating between candidates and hiring teams, to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all parties.
- Foster strong relationships with potential candidates and build a pipeline of talented engineers for current and future needs.
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to remain competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1-5 years of recruiting experience within a high growth tech startup.
- Active network within the cybersecurity, defense and general hardware / software industries.
- Knowledge of employment law as it relates to hiring.
