Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
- Must have a minimum of 18 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the Health Market.
- Strong presentations skills are essential.
- Exceptional client and people leadership skills are required.
- Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy is needed.
- Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully is essential.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
- Must be able to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
- Some travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for the Central Region of CannonDesign focused on the overall growth of the health market.
- Develop and lead high-performance diverse teams focused on the development and implementation of the Regional Health and local office strategies.
- Contribute to the success of the firm including the areas of strategy and market intelligence, business development and strategic client positioning, client and team leadership, recruiting for strategic roles, and expertise and resource development including mentoring of our people.
- Accountable to integrate our range of design services, managing our processes and delivering solid financial performance for the Region.
- Build a team of Market Leaders to implement strategies locally, help smaller offices grow, and work with the Executive Director of the Region to build regional business plans and strategies.
- Leverage Market Intelligence to develop and implement a business plan focused on future growth strategies, resource needs, and brand opportunities.
- Develop and position CannonDesign for new business opportunities with premier target clients.
- Lead, engage and partner with clients on billable project-specific work.
- Act as a leading voice for the region both externally and internally, visible in speaking events, writing and other activities that promote the firm and our work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Registration/Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering preferred.
- Additional certifications and/or training relevant to this role are preferred.
