Requirements
- PhD in a social science-related area
- Strong background in qualitative and arts-based research
- Experience in participatory visual methodologies
- Knowledge in feminist, gender and intersectionality studies
- Experience in youth engagement and youth knowledge mobilization
- Research related to environmental and climate issues
- Extensive background working in Global South contexts
- Experience collaborating with local and International NGOs
- Strong experience developing successful funding proposals for federal and provincial research funders
- Experience with research protocols of the Tri-Agencies
- Knowledge mobilization strategies related to visual methodologies
- At least 5 years of post PhD experience
Responsibilities
- Maintain, develop, and expand partnerships attached to TRANSFORM
- Responsible for or oversee ethics and data management
- Identify funding opportunities and develop funding proposals
- Support the research team in documenting and studying the work of the partnership
- Participate in data analysis and knowledge mobilization across sites
- Write and edit a variety of reports and proposals
- Identify and develop training and knowledge mobilization opportunities for TRANSFORM youth and partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting interdisciplinary partnership research in youth engagement
- Some language proficiency relevant for proposed field sites
- Background working with and for young people in Canadian contexts
