Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in resource management, project management, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel and dashboard development tools.
  • Proficiency in project and resource management software and tools. Ex. Workfront, Atlassian, MS Project, Smartsheet or similar
  • Ability to analyze data, generate actionable insights and visually present for leadership and executive audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project managers, department heads, and HR to understand project requirements, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Build and maintain resource complex, staff forecast plans to support multiple projects and accounts.
  • Monitor staffing and hiring processes to ensure all needs are filled on time to meet project and delivery commitments, partnering with human resources and finance to mitigate constraints.
  • Evaluate existing resource assignments and actuals, balance workloads to mitigate over and under allocations and solve for competing priorities on constrained resources.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings to manage staff forecasts, allocation and assignment health, progress on staffing and any other resource planning initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of open needs, resource availability, skills, and project assignments.
  • Build tools and processes to maintain and report on resource data, ensuring it is easily accessible and can be used to support decision making and strategic planning.
  • Design and build regular reports and dashboards on resource utilization, availability, and project status to provide insights to senior management and support strategic decision-making.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, forecast future resource needs, and recommend adjustments to resource planning strategies.
  • Continuously enhance resource management processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency, scalability, and data accuracy.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize resource planning and allocation.
