Requirements
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Pharmacist licensure in the state of Texas within 90 days of hire date
Responsibilities
- Engage in various rotations, gaining exposure to different aspects of retail pharmacy practice
- Undergo training in both clinical and operational aspects of pharmacy management
- Deliver patient-centered care and collaborate with healthcare teams
- Communicate effectively with patients and optimize medication therapy outcomes
- Undertake quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient care, operational efficiency, or community outreach
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, such as seminars, workshops, and conferences
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the CVS Health network
- Participate in a rigorous evaluation process to assess competence and readiness for independent practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in community pharmacy practice with interest in organizational leadership
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Professionalism and maturity
- Ability to travel to clinical sites, training programs, and professional meetings
- CVS Health internship or rotation experience
