Requirements
- Qualified CPA
- 8-10 years of experience in Revenue Operations and/or Account Receivable roles with large B2B SaaS companies
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 GAAP standard
- Proficiency in enterprise-grade B2B billing, revenue recognition, and contract management
- Experience managing sales tax compliance across jurisdictions on platforms like Avalara
- Ability to create and execute SOPs for billing, revenue recognition, and collections
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with an ability to work autonomously
Responsibilities
- Own all revenue operation processes including: Onboarding on customer vendor portals, Collecting customer billing information, Consolidating and tracking contractual obligations, Preparing and issuing invoices, Leading collection efforts, Recognizing revenue by customer by service
- Calculating GTM compensation on a monthly basis
- Own sales tax registration and compliance across all jurisdictions
- Draft revenue recognition memos and ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Build strong working relationships with GTM, Legal, and BI Operations to align and improve workflows
- Build an industry leading billing and revenue operations department as the company scales
Preferred Qualifications
- Big4 or other public accounting experience preferred
- Experience drafting detailed revenue recognition memos
- Experience working with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Quickbooks, Netsuite, etc
- Agile mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
