Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- Strong theoretical, experimental and/or industrial experience
- History and strong plans for obtaining grants from competitive funding agencies
Responsibilities
- Develop a vigorous and sustainable grant-funded research program in their area of expertise
- Publish in reputable, high-impact scholarly journals
- Teach a variety of courses in the above areas at both undergraduate and graduate levels
- Supervise Masters and Doctoral students
- Participate in appropriate levels of service to the department, college, university, and the profession
- Collaborate with faculty and researchers within the Department and the University
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in the design, verification, testing, and fabrication of integrated circuits (ICs) for digital, analog, mixed signals; RF and microwave circuits; system integration; semiconductor device manufacturing, packaging, and heterogenous integration; bioelectronics, emerging micro/nanoelectronics, quantum circuits, and neuromorphic systems; applications of circuit and system design/synthesis
