Requirements
- Strong technical skills for casualty lines of business
- Work experience in risk engineering
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
- Consultative selling skills
- Broad-based knowledge of risk management and risk engineering technical disciplines
- Ability to deliver work through technical specialists and newer virtual technologies
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in preferred fields: Safety Management, Risk Management and Insurance, Business Management, Engineering, or Science Majors
- 7+ years of work experience
- PE, CSP, ARM, or other professional designation required
- Ability to build relationships, implement solutions, and deliver results
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver risk engineering survey and service work for large loss-sensitive casualty clients
- Support the underwriting team in the Northeast territory
- Engage in data-driven discussions as part of the service approach
- Travel to clients for sales and meetings (20% expected)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and use of wearables or imagery (IoT)
