Risk Product Accounting Intern

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
• Completed or currently enrolled in an Intermediate Accounting course
• Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
• Employer immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Responsibilities

• Assist with ensuring that financial activity for insurance and annuity products and related field compensation are appropriately accounted for in the general ledger
• Manage daily and monthly tasks such as preparing journal entries, system balancing, and account reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve variances by working with systems, client services or field services contacts
• Collaborate on process improvement projects, financial control documentation, and audit requests
