Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- 2 years of recent RN experience
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting.
- Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients.
- Coordinate and resolve daily operations issues.
- Perform the duties of an RN ambulatory.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
- Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
- Assist in preparing department specific education for patients and caregivers.
- Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience and patient safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience
- Pulmonary experience
