Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent in healthcare or related field
- 2 years of relevant Nursing experience
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) – State of Michigan upon hire
Responsibilities
- Supports and drives improvement activities for accountable areas based on organizational priorities (project management, measurable deliverables, milestones, and data informed strategy)
- Serves as a liaison between various departments across the Corewell Health System
- Drives continuous assessment and improvements using appropriate tools and methodology within the business
- Utilizes clinical judgment to coordinate the retrieval of pertinent clinical and regulatory data ensuring timely submission to meet program requirements
- Collaborates with internal and external programming staff to maintain the integrity, functioning and ongoing maintenance of databases
- Maintains understanding of Quality rules and regulations for The Joint Commission and CMS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in healthcare or related field
- Orthopedic surgery experience
- 1 year of relevant experience with chart review, relevant clinical experience and/or Quality improvement experience
- CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list – Institute for Healthcare improvement (IHI), IHI Open School
