Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arkansas or Compact State
  • 1 year of nursing experience

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a competent level of understanding and application of the AC Model of Patient and Family-Centered care
  • Consistently provides safe and effective nursing care at a competent level
  • Competently assess patients and provide developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive care
  • Analyzes information to identify problems and outcomes, evaluates variations and patterns in patient/family data
  • Provides individualized patient and family education at competent levels
  • Advances evidence-based nursing practice using best available evidence
  • Exemplifies and supports the AC Professional Practice Model
  • Participates in interdisciplinary shared decision making activities
  • Actively participates in the improvement of patient care, nursing practice and the work environment
  • Accountable for the quality of patient care by initiating advocacy actions for patients, families and AC team
  • Participates in councils, committees, taskforces and hospital initiatives
  • Competently mentors, coaches, and teaches healthcare professionals and students
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Demonstrated performance of 100% at the previous level and score within documented RN II/III levels via ACHieve career ladder for internal employees
