Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
- Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arkansas or Compact State
- 1 year of nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a competent level of understanding and application of the AC Model of Patient and Family-Centered care
- Consistently provides safe and effective nursing care at a competent level
- Competently assess patients and provide developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive care
- Analyzes information to identify problems and outcomes, evaluates variations and patterns in patient/family data
- Provides individualized patient and family education at competent levels
- Advances evidence-based nursing practice using best available evidence
- Exemplifies and supports the AC Professional Practice Model
- Participates in interdisciplinary shared decision making activities
- Actively participates in the improvement of patient care, nursing practice and the work environment
- Accountable for the quality of patient care by initiating advocacy actions for patients, families and AC team
- Participates in councils, committees, taskforces and hospital initiatives
- Competently mentors, coaches, and teaches healthcare professionals and students
- Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Nursing
- Demonstrated performance of 100% at the previous level and score within documented RN II/III levels via ACHieve career ladder for internal employees
