Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related discipline required
- Desire to obtain your E.I.T (desire to obtain P.E. in the future)
- Knowledgeable in Microstation, OpenRoads Designer and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects
- Willingness to be adaptable to office and field project site inspection tasks to support project design
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written – e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)
- Detailed, and organized and thrive in environments that are deadline-driven
Responsibilities
- Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships
- Review mathematical calculations, organize calculations to be included in the design file, and follow project standards as assigned by the Project Manager
- Establish project goals and milestones, define responsibilities, coordinate resources, and monitor project progress
- Design and model simplistic mill and overall jobs to more complex new and reconstruction projects
