Requirements
- have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a similar field
- have 7+ years of customer-facing experience in software- or tech companies, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- have experience selling enterprise software to the sports, entertainment, or live events sector
- have experience selling a mission-critical product/solution
- display the ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- show strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
- show commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
Responsibilities
- own one of our largest and strategically most important verticals, working directly with top-level executives in Major and Minor Leagues, College Athletics and other sporting event organizers
- manage and mentor a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- track and report on sales activities and outcomes, ensuring alignment with established goals and objectives
- collaborate with upper management to develop and implement strategic sales plans aimed at achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth targets within the sports vertical
- identify and pursue target sports accounts, leading initial outreach efforts alongside BDRs and effectively pitching vivenu’s solutions
- navigate complex sales cycles by managing multiple stakeholders, including User Buyers, Technical Buyers, Economic Buyers, and Customer Experience teams
- build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and fully understanding their needs and wants
- close deals with new clients, further expanding our customer base
- identify emerging markets and market shifts, while being fully aware of new products and competition status at all times
Preferred Qualifications
- have 3+ years of experience managing and developing sales teams, with a focus on coaching and performance enhancement (preferred)
- have experience selling enterprise software to the education sector, with a focus on colleges and universities (preferred)
