Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years’ relevant experience in a supervisory/management role
- Prior experience in a casino/resort environment ideal
- Prior working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulations is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Regularly interact with our various internal departments to provide new safety information and trainings to their staff
- Act as the primary liaison to regulatory agencies, the Center of Excellence, and external partners regarding safety programs and initiatives
- Lead and facilitate property safety committee meetings in accordance with regulatory standards
- Conduct property safety assessments to identify potential occupational hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with OSHA and Fire Departments during safety inspections
- Implement Incident Command Structure protocols in emergency situations to ensure an organized and effective response
- Enforce all fire, safety policies, and relevant regulations, ensuring adherence to applicable local, state, and federal laws
Preferred Qualifications
