Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales analytics, business intelligence, or related role.
- Strong experience with sales performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Oracle, or similar).
- Advanced skills in data visualization and reporting.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data management tools.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with experience in developing insights and making data-driven decisions.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance metrics.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate sales performance.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports and ad-hoc analysis for management and stakeholders.
- Develop sales forecasts and projections based on historical data, market trends, and business performance.
- Provide insights into sales performance, customer segmentation, and product profitability to optimize sales strategies.
- Identify underperforming areas and suggest recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with the sales team to track performance against targets and KPIs.
- Assist in the development of sales strategies by providing data-driven insights.
- Help the sales team understand and leverage data for decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all sales-related databases and reporting systems.
- Perform data cleaning and ensure data consistency in CRM and other sales tracking systems.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions that impact sales performance.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on competitive analysis to guide sales strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes through data analysis and automation tools.
- Proactively recommend changes to reporting and analysis techniques to drive more efficient and impactful insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A master’s degree is a plus.
