Requirements
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field
- Demonstrated success in maintaining a minimum annual sales budget of $5 million, highlighting strong sales capabilities
- Experience in effectively managing and expanding territories, indicating strategic planning and execution abilities
- Possess a general understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, energy storage, and load banks, contributing to informed sales discussions
- Proficient in CRM systems like Salesforce, enabling efficient customer relationship management and sales tracking
Responsibilities
- Position allows for remote and face-to-face sales activities, offering geographical flexibility within Long Island, NY
- Engage in sales to both new and existing customers, utilizing cross-selling, upselling, and repeat sales strategies
- Identify and assess potential sales opportunities, crafting medium to long-term sales plans to enhance relationships and boost energy solution sales
- Drive towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets through proactive sales efforts and effective relationship management
- Develop sales proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and manage customer details in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to ensure efficient sales operations
- Expand and maintain the customer network through regular sales calls, while assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions
