Requirements
- Must have High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of Electronics related experience. Will consider associate’s degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics related field with 1 year of relevant electronics experience
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to work various shifts as needed
- Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
- Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM) or similar test equipment
- Self–starter with ability to work with little to no supervision
- Ability to recognize basic electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions
- Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions and other process documents
- Work well in a team environment
- Able to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance
Responsibilities
- Support the repairs and manufacturing of electronic assemblies. Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to determine cause and remedy for malfunction applying basic knowledge to perform simple or routine task.
- Test and accept assemblies per approved ATP procedures.
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections.
- Prepare Line Replaceable Units for testing. Perform touch ups.
- Disassemble, repair, and re-assemble LRUs using electronic work instructions or applicable technical documents. Implement depot service bulletins.
- Interpret drawings and parts lists.
- Clean, inspect, and handle precision optics.
- Maintain and repair shop equipment.
- Utilize common electronic test equipment, lifts, test fixtures, and hand tools.
- Perform basic soldering tasks.
- Document maintenance actions in Ready Blue or applicable data systems. Submit replacement parts requests.
- Support projects and meetings to improve repair processes. Provide input and support to production schedules and hours.
- Obtain in a reasonable time frame and then maintain all applicable work-related certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics related field with 1 year of relevant electronics experience
- Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab environment
- Experience testing and troubleshooting LRU assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems
- Soldering experience or familiarization
- Have a current Secret DoD clearance
