Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of Electronics related experience. Will consider associate’s degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics related field with 1 year of relevant electronics experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work various shifts as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
  • Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM) or similar test equipment
  • Self–starter with ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Ability to recognize basic electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions
  • Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions and other process documents
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Able to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance

Responsibilities

  • Support the repairs and manufacturing of electronic assemblies. Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to determine cause and remedy for malfunction applying basic knowledge to perform simple or routine task.
  • Test and accept assemblies per approved ATP procedures.
  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections.
  • Prepare Line Replaceable Units for testing. Perform touch ups.
  • Disassemble, repair, and re-assemble LRUs using electronic work instructions or applicable technical documents. Implement depot service bulletins.
  • Interpret drawings and parts lists.
  • Clean, inspect, and handle precision optics.
  • Maintain and repair shop equipment.
  • Utilize common electronic test equipment, lifts, test fixtures, and hand tools.
  • Perform basic soldering tasks.
  • Document maintenance actions in Ready Blue or applicable data systems. Submit replacement parts requests.
  • Support projects and meetings to improve repair processes. Provide input and support to production schedules and hours.
  • Obtain in a reasonable time frame and then maintain all applicable work-related certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics related field with 1 year of relevant electronics experience
  • Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab environment
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting LRU assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems
  • Soldering experience or familiarization
  • Have a current Secret DoD clearance
