Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Minimum of one year experience teaching infant, toddler, or preschool age children
- All employees are required to complete and maintain certification in first aid, communicable disease, infant/child CPR, child abuse recognition training, and any other ODJFS/ODE mandated training.
Responsibilities
- Ensures social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of children are met within the framework of the school’s philosophy
- Assists in supervising children and integrating daily and long-term planning for classrooms in collaboration with Teachers and Administrators
- Assists with implementing, evaluating, and communicating classroom programming, research, routines, and procedures
- Assists in management of classroom by completing paperwork and problem solving with team and parents to address classroom issues
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, child development, or a related field.
