Responsibilities

  • Develop deep and meaningful relationships with AssetMark sales teams, advisors, and recordkeeping wholesalers to identify business opportunities.
  • Actively seek new client relationships and manage the sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing. Educate, influence, and persuade advisors on the key benefits of the AssetMark SDBA program.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with financial advisors, ensemble teams, and recordkeeping wholesalers. Manage advisor escalations timely to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactive and continuous outreach to prospective clients utilizing internal and external networks, Salesforce, Discovery Database, marketing campaign leads, etc. while maintaining a sales pipeline.
  • Attend/Present at AssetMark and industry conferences, networking events, and seminars to promote the organization’s retirement services, expanding the network of potential advisory clients and partners.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including compliance, operations, and marketing, to ensure alignment in service offerings and messaging in the marketplace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • 5-10 years proven experience in business development or sales with SDBA accounts, specifically PCRA and BrokerageLink and/or retirement plan industry experience
