Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in IT, including IT application project work; OR an advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in IT, including IT application project work; OR an Associates degree and 7+ years of experience in IT, including IT application project work; OR in lieu of a degree, 9+ years of experience in IT, including IT application project work.
- US Citizenship is required due to systems supported.
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain industry standard Security (Security+ or better) technical certifications and specific applications as needed by the organization.
- Experience packaging, installing and configuring applications in Linux and Windows.
- Experience working knowledge of Linux and Windows commands and file system structures.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects priorities.
- General Troubleshooting.
- Documentation, Standard work, Process Improvements and Root Cause Corrective Action Skills.
- Experience working collaboratively to help other team members and internal customers.
- Experience thinking ‘out-of-the-box’.
Responsibilities
- Install/distribute application packages on multiple systems.
- Troubleshoot application issues by assessing interaction of multiple components such as software, network, data access, user environment, OS, licensing.
- Respond to and resolve Help Desk tickets; manage software Change Controls.
- Provide support for Business and Engineering Applications.
- Prepare and maintain User documentation.
- Address application compliance issues.
- Manage application projects.
- Install and manage software licenses.
- Maintain Application Installation Repository.
- Maintain Programs application template in Staging Environment.
- This position may require approximately 10% after-hours duties on a monthly basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active/transferrable US Government secret security clearance.
- Certification in Security+ and/or Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP/CASP).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Ansible, Chef or similar technologies.
- General knowledge of scripting languages including Perl, Python, PowerShell, etc.
- Familiarity with license management software (FlexLM, RLM) is a plus.
- High Performance Computing knowledge and/or experience.
- Programming experience.
- Familiarity with Engineering software (Ansys, Fluent, NX, Teamcenter).
- Experience with Primavera, wInsight, WebEVM or other EVMS software systems.
- Oracle and SQL Server Database skills.
- General IT Infrastructure knowledge (server/client OS, networking, storage, etc).
- Excellent time management.
- Passion for learning and an ability to learn new applications and other skills as required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership, and verbal and written communication skills.
