Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- At least 1 year experience in Security or equivalent job functions is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and provides protection and security for facilities, premises, employees, patients, and visitors
- Responds to security calls within the medical center
- Conducts basic investigations
- Troubleshoots the electronic visitor management system
- Performs routine and repetitive duties following clearly prescribed standards and practices as set forth by the Manager of Hospital Security
- Work involves shift work and some overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of methods of security in buildings and grounds institution is preferred
