Security Shift Manager

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in security operations, military, or as a first responder.
Must successfully attend and pass a CPR/AED response simulation as a condition of employment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed risk assessments, safety reviews, and after-action reports, with a focus on identifying areas for improvement and implementing operational security solutions.

Oversee security and support staff, including scheduling, work assignments, station coverage, payroll, PTO management, and performance evaluations. Administer progressive discipline when necessary.
Build and develop high-performing teams through interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, and conducting performance reviews. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, and mutual respect.
Ensure compliance with MGMRI policies, and federal, state, and local regulations. Effectively communicate policy and procedure updates to the security team and provide recommendations for improvements.
Implement departmental strategies and operational tactics to enhance safety and guest satisfaction using feedback and data. Maintain a proactive approach to ensure consistent guest service excellence across the property or venue.
Enforce guest service standards by addressing inquiries and concerns directly or by coordinating with the appropriate team members or departments.
Act as Incident Commander during critical situations, establishing emergency response objectives and strategies until Senior Leadership or Law Enforcement arrives.
