Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of clerical experience OR High School Diploma or GED with at least 7 years of clerical experience
- Commitment to SCL mission and to student wellbeing
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Act as back up and support Associate Director on all Academic Affairs related tasks.
- Support and collaborate with assistant director of academic advising to train and partner on academic advising.
- Assist with managing course inventory and course scheduling processes, including cross-listing, for the School of Civic Leadership. Attend curriculum committee, acting as record keeper on behalf of Associate Director of Academic Affairs.
- Coordinate and support faculty proposals for Signature Courses, Skills and Experience Flags, and Core Curriculum designations.
- Train to take on management of course catalogs, examination schedules, and related timelines that structure undergraduate study. Provide support for all aspects of course registration, including early registration, add drops, and waitlist processes.
- Stay abreast of related reporting and compliance monitoring. Support in ensuring timely submission of syllabi and faculty CVs. Coordinate end-of semester course evaluation administration and grade reporting.
- Train and assist with management of seats in classes with Seat Management System. Coordinate seat management with related departments, communicate with faculty and students.
- Assist with academic appeals.
- Other duties as assigned.
