Senior Accountant

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
• CPA license required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a widely dispersed team.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain compliance with ASC 606 – Revenue recognition criteria.
• Prepare, review, and process journal entries, reconcile accounts, maintain the general ledger, and assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and system upgrades, including assisting in the development and automation of financial reporting systems.
• Support audit preparation by providing necessary documentation and collaborating with external auditors.
• Ensure accounting procedures and systems are efficient, accurate, and compliant with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Sage Intacct, Floqast, and Coupa.
• Experience with process automation and system implementations.
• Experience in a fast-growing technology company.
• Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
