Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting, or 5+ years of experience in a non-public accounting role
- Earned (or currently actively pursuing) CPA
- Advanced Excel skills, with a high comfort level in areas like complex formulas, pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and high accuracy
- History of successfully managing a variety of tasks and meeting deadlines in prior roles
- Located in one of the hiring states: Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Georgia, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Review and monitor the accounts payable process using Coupa
- Manage reimbursements and corporate card program using Brex
- Calculate and pay affiliate commissions
- Manage fixed assets process
- Prepare general ledger entries and review and reconcile various general ledger accounts through NetSuite
- Research and recommend accounting treatment for revenue recognition under ASC 606 for new revenue streams or contracting models
- Participate in financial data analysis, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems and processes
- Assist with tax return information requests and respond to tax notices
- Perform monthly use tax calculations
- Assist in the monthly sales tax return review and reconciliation process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the SaaS industry
- Worked with accounting software tools like NetSuite and Coupa
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting big data
